*** TIPS FOR HANGING PICTURES LIKE A PRO ***
Arranging and hanging pictures doesn't have to be
difficult. Here are some tips to help arrange art on a
wall. The secret to attractive artwork display...
Location, location, location
Hang your artwork at the eye-level of the "average
person in the room. If you are hanging the art in a
room where more time is spent seated than standing,
"eye-level" should be lower.
Artwork behind a sofa should be no more than 8 to 10
inches above the back of the sofa.
Large Art:
Large art will be a focal point so be careful to place it in
an appropriate area. Where does large artwork look
best? Try over a sofa, behind the dining table, or over
a fireplace.
Small Art:
Try to group small pieces if possible. Use similar or
coordinating frames and themes to make this visually
pleasing.
Grouping Art:
Whether you're using equal size frames or a collection
of various sizes, the rule of spacing is the same. Try to
have them approximately 3 inches apart. Try
positioning them on the floor to get a pleasing
arrangement before making any holes.
